My Medical Matterfrom Trellys

Every provider's records and bills, without your team chasing them.

Give us the case and we'll get the records and bills from every place your client was treated. We keep calling and faxing until they come in, and while your client is still in treatment we go back for the new visits. At the end you get the whole thing in date order.

$35 a request to start. We don't take a cut of the settlement.

All the back and forth with records offices

Every office has its own way of doing things. Once we've learned an office's way, we use it on every case after that.

  • Right inside Filevine

You keep working in Filevine. We take the providers from the case, put the records back in it when they arrive, and fill in each provider's request date, received date and bill total.

  • We call the records desk first

Before we send anything, we call and ask where the request should go and who handles the bills. That way it reaches the right person the first time.

  • Their form, filled in

Some offices won't take anything but their own release form. We get it, fill it in from the case, attach the signed authorization and send it back.

  • Email, fax or their portal

We send it however the office takes it. When an email bounces or a fax fails, we switch to another way and keep following up.

We go back for the new visits.

An ER sends its records once and is done. Physical therapy might add notes every week for six months. We keep going back for the new pages, so the file doesn't fall behind your client's treatment.

That's in the price. Nobody in your office has to send a second request, and the records are filed by provider with the itemized bill right next to them.

One timeline for the whole case

Each provider only has part of the story. We put every visit in date order and link each one to the page it came from. Read like that, it's a lot easier to spot a referral nobody followed up on.

Records from many providers lined up into one timeline One colored line per provider starts in a tangle on the left, passes through a comb and comes out straight. Each visit drops onto one timeline in date order. An early ER visit has an open note, and three weeks with no therapy visits are marked. The firm and the client see the same file.

Your client can see the same records and timeline your team sees, so nobody is working from an old copy.

A text the day before each appointment

Clients in treatment have a lot of appointments, and the missed ones show up in the records. We text your client the day before each one. If they need to move it, we let the firm know so someone can call them.

We don't book or change appointments, and we don't tell anyone what care to get.

Did your lawyer send you here?

Your law firm uses us to collect your medical records and bills. Here's what that means for you.

  • We collect your records

With your signed permission, we ask every place that treated you for your records and bills. If you keep seeing a doctor, we get the new records too. You and your law firm can both see them.

  • We text you before appointments

The day before an appointment you'll get a short text. If you need to reschedule, just reply and someone from your law firm will call you.

  • Who sees your records

Only you and your law firm. We follow HIPAA rules for keeping health records private. If you have questions about your case, call your law firm.

We're not doctors or lawyers. We won't give you medical or legal advice, and we'll never tell you what treatment to get.

Questions firms ask us

What does our team have to do?

Open the case in Filevine with the providers and the signed authorization. We take it from there.

What counts as a provider?

Any place that treated your client or sent them a bill. A hospital and the ER doctors who bill on their own count as two.

What if a provider doesn't respond?

We keep at it, and every call and fax shows up on the case. If an office tells us they never saw your client, we note that and stop asking.

Do you give medical or legal advice?

No. We collect the records and point out what's in them and what seems to be missing. Medical decisions are between the client and their doctors, and the legal calls are yours.

How do you protect client records?

We follow HIPAA rules for every record, and only the firm and the client can see them. If your firm needs a business associate agreement, we'll sign one.

What about Medicare, Medicaid or health plan payments?

If the records show Medicare, Medicaid or a health plan paid for something, we flag it for the firm.

Can you help get medical bills lowered?

Yes, it's a separate add-on. Ask us about it on your demo call.

Bring one of your cases to a demo and we'll show you what we'd do with it

On the call we take one of your real cases and walk through who we'd contact and what it would cost. Want to see it first? Press play on the example case.
